Step 2112: Develop Tick After Watching Chase Sapphire Dress Commercial

This commercial is just a precursor to:
"... one of these days ... Pow! Right in the kisser! One of these days Alice, straight to the Moon!"

I can only imagine this Chase Sapphire "Dress" commercial (more info here http://www.adweek.com/aw/creative/ad-of-the-day/article_display.jsp?creativeId=270295)  was cut short before the husband went full on Hulk smash on her.  I wonder how those reward zone points will be split up in divorce court.

Step 15: Find a Girlfriend That's In On The Joke

If you are going to do anything at all, make sure to turn the dial to eleven. This past Christmas, my girlfriend and I wanted to take a Christmas photo we could send out as a card.  What started as a sweet idea turned into the suuuuuhhhhhweet card:

The homemade method behind the tacky after the jump.

Step 95: Always Be Learning

"I am learning all the time.  The tombstone will be my diploma. - Eartha Kitt"  (anyone know when this was said?)

If I were to ever hit the jackpot I have already thought about what I would do with the money.  I would first appease my grandfather and invest every single cent of it first.  After that is all setup, I would go back to school and study EVERYTHING.  It amazes me how much material is right at our fingertips and that it's not taken advantage of.

I have recently started to "take the courses" on MIT's OpenCourseWare's website.  It's fascinating!  Right now, I have been sprucing up on core concepts that will help in my marketing/advertising career but I can't wait to venture out on other topics.  http://ocw.mit.edu

What is MIT OpenCourseWare?
MIT OpenCourseWare is a free publication of MIT course materials that reflects almost all the undergraduate and graduate subjects taught at MIT.
  • OCW is not an MIT education.
  • OCW does not grant degrees or certificates.
  • OCW does not provide access to MIT faculty.
  • Materials may not reflect entire content of the course.

Unsee This - Sports Logo Edition

The Brewer's old logo is a catching mitt...

...it's also a "m" and a "b" for the Milwaukee Brewers.  More after the jump.

Step 926: Start a blog with a focus

This isn't my first venture into the world of blogging but it's my first with a great focus.  Well that's not entirely true.  I started a blog (PRObus Athlete) that focused on the good acts of athletes instead of all the bad stories the media covers.  Well, Gilbert Arenas blew that for me since I wrote up a great piece on him and then he went and played a jokey joke with a gun.  That's pretty funny Gilbert.

I plan on updating that again but with a more thorough vetting process.  In the mean time, I'll be copying some of my better entries into this one.

Step 812: Practice great bus manners, punish those who do not

I usually get on a bus as it’s starting to fill up.  Inevitiablly, one of the riders decides that he/she does not have to sit next to someone.  We wouldn’t want to catch whatever form of cooties is going around would we?  Usually they’ll place a bag or another personal belonging next to them and stare off at the horizon, knowing no one will ask them to move their bag.  Sitting Bull provides an example below with his leather sachel.

I, on the other hand, go out of the way to find that person.  I scan the bus as I hop on and zero in.  I stroll over and ask them to move their bag so I can have a seat and revel in their eye rolls and exaggerated sighs.  If only I was 200 lbs heaver and did not care about my personal hygiene…
